Jordan Brandon
Campo Verde High School Junior
Being a Highschoolstreams.com student has opened me to so many opportunities in the broadcasting career field. I have been a highschoolstreams.com student since my freshman year at Campo Verde High School. As a junior, I am now beginning by third year with Highschoolstreams.com and to date I have announced 1 ½ seasons of Campo Verde Basketball, and 2 seasons of Campo Verde Football.
Through this experience, I was able to become the overhead announcer at the Campo Verde Varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball games. Additionally, this past Summer I had the opportunity to attend The 2017-2018 Walter Cronkite School of Journalism Summer Program (SJI). This program taught me how to be a professional, encouraged valuable work ethic, and what it is like to announce full games.
Highschoolstreams.com has given my school a platform to air all of our games to the world to show what it truly means to be a coyote! Special thanks to Adelaida Severson for being an outstanding mentor!

Under the direction of veteran sports journalists, student receive hands on experience with play-by-play and sideline reporting, hosting, and studio production while covering professional sports teams such as the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Mercury.
Student participants also produce segments and full sports programs inside Cronkite’s state-of-the-art studios and discover how to use digital television field reporting equipment and Adobe Premiere Pro editing software.
